where can I publish My poetry and not get ripped off?

They only accept original unpublished pieces. This is one of the last legit journals in the US. Check around for other contests such as the LA Times.
 
I am a member of triond, and I write poetry and short stories. But I have written numerous poems, and haven't even earned a dollar yet! it's very discouraging, so does anyone know of a legit place? where I can publish My work and perhaps earn some recognition? thank you all for your answers.
