Where can I plan my bicycle route to work? Pittsburgh?

I live about 6 miles outside of Pittsburgh, which means that I have to cross a bridge and a go up and down a bunch of hills. Does any one know where I can plan my trip...besides Google Maps, they suck...and havent gotten around to that specific application yet. I appreciate any help...besides the sarcastic remarks...which even then, I still appreciate. THANKS!
 
Check with the Pittsburgh department of transportation. Most cities will have maps of suggested bike routes.
