I'm making my roommates child a book but I would like to present nice and bound, like a book you would buy in the store. Is there a site that I can upload my story to format it into a book?
Lulu (http://www.lulu.com) is probably the easiest if you just want it in print form. You and your family can order it, but they are not cheep. If you want to sell and market your book I would look at Lightning Source (http://www.lightningsource.com/).

I use lulu.com - they're a good service with a solid product.
They're rival is createspace.com (owned by Amazon). I use them for DVD and CD's, but I'm not so much into their book building service as I am with Lulu's.
