My friend, when I was 15 the last thing I wanted to do was sit in front of a computer and learn silly letter abbreviations that I couldn't relate to anything, but the world we live in sucks and its difficult to get anything good for free. Unfortunately for a free website your choices are extremely limited.
You have two options, use the small number of free website providers (I recommend free webs) and deal with the sub-par templates they choose to offer. OR design your own and host it on a free site such as free webs. The drawback to the second one is you don't know or seem to have the patience to learn HTML. Perhaps one of your friends wants to learn and this could be a good project for them.
If all you want to do is host pictures, perhaps facebook? My-space? Even Photobucket.
