Are there any online schools / distance education departments that provide a program in computer programming with a java focus that aren't "diploma mills"? I'm looking for anything higher than a certificate, I want a degree. I know little to nothing about college but I am desperate to continue my education but I can't even get past this first pivotal step.
Keep in mind, I don't simply want a degree, I want to actually learn, and perhaps a degree that won't be laughed at bye very single employer after I get it... if such a thing exists.
