where can i get pink fish?????

for my sweet sixteen center piece i wnt it to be a fish bowl with pink little fish in it since my theme is pretty in pink
i need to find pink fish really cheap in California cus my banquet hall is in Glendale
where and for how much is it possible to get them?
 
Althought I wouldn't recommend putting fish in the center piece. If I were you I'd get a kissing gourami. They're pink and they have this wierd behavior of kissing when they're territory is threathened. I think they're cute though:)

Are you doing a small tank or bowl?

For a tank there are some pink gourami, platy, guppies, and convicts. (these fish can ONLY survive in a tank, not a bowl)

For a bowl (and only for a short period of time or the fish will suffer and sick/dying fish AREN'T pretty in pink at all) try some regular rosey red minnows, or possibly some betta; 1 betta per container though.

And remember you need to have reliable housing for these living and breathing animals after your party is over.

what happens after your party?

the fish the other person recommended requires at least 10gallons or filtered, heated water and need to be kept in groups of at least 5. they cost about $6-$10 per fish, so you'd be spending between $30-$70 on the fish depending on whether you have a tropical community tank set up at home already with enough room for them or not.

one option would be getting a male betta, however pink ones are hard to find. the price range should be around $3 to $15 depending on the store and the type of betta. however... the bowl is NOT a permanent home. the betta will need a minimum of a 2.5gallons tank with a filter and heater.

your other option (the better but harder to find option) would be a paradise fish. some albino ones are a nice pink color. they'll be fine in a 2gallon tank with a small filter and no heater once the party is over.
