also i want to paint my valve cover. is there places that actually do that stuff for you or is it just do it yourself kinda work

It's best to remove the calipers, plug off the the brake fittings and mask the piston boots. Either bead them with glass or aluminum oxide beads. I guess there are companies that sell special heat proof paint. Same with the valve cover, just make sure you wash it several times with hot soap and water to remove all the bead residue before painting. You don't want glass or aluminum oxide dust material inside your motor.

this to me, is do it yourself kinda work. you can get high temp paint from autozone, pepboys, walmart, etc for the brake calipers for about $5-$6 and the valve cover you can use regular spray paint but if you want it all the same color the high temp brake paint will do just fine under the hood. if you dont want to deal with the mess or hassle of taking the wheels off and taking out the valve cover im sure a friend or neighbor would be happy to do it for a case of beer.
