My favorite cell phone of all time was my beloved White Samsung SGH D807. Unfortuntately, I had a bottle of hairspray explode all over it (long story) and eventually the cell broke on me. I then had the Sony Ericsson Walkman phone for a while, but I never liked it much. I broke it..on purpose..when I got mad. So now I NEED to get a new phone but I have no clue what to get. I don't really care what service the phone is under I just REALLY REALLY hope someone can let me know where (if possible) I can get another a Samsung SGH D807..if not any other suggestions for an awesome white slider phone? I want a phone I can use as a music player too, and I definitely want a slider. No touch screen, i phone type junks for me. Thanks in advance!
If you are capable of getting out of your contract with your other carrier (if you have one), I do recommend switching for a few reasons:
As a person who tests wireless devices, for all carriers, I know that AT&T is not the best.
As a previous Verizon Wireless employee, I know the standards are high for the quality of Verizon's network.
I recommend Verizon Wireless for your wireless needs:
As a testing agent, they have the most reliable, unbreakable devices.
Best call quality
fewer dropped calls

If you choose Verizon Wireless, then you should choose the Samsung Sway. It is somewhat better than the device you had. If not better, at least as good. It provides all of the following (and more):
2.0 Megapixel Camera (your previous phone was a 1.3)
Micro SD capable
Music Player (with the award winning V CAST Music with Rhapsody), PC DOWNLOADS ONLY :flamemad:
Wireless Internet Capable
Excellent Call Quality
VZ Navigator (turn by turn directions, and Gas Price Checker)
This phone does lack the exclusive V CAST Video or Mobile TV which they both allow you to watch videos/shows from your device. One is live and the other is streaming, pre recorded. It only allows music downloads and transfers from the computer, while most other V CAST Music devices can download right from the handset itself. Overall, it is an amazing, eye catching device. CNET even reviewed this device, Google it for details.
If this device, or Verizon Wireless does not meet your needs, I am able to assist you with any wireless provider, almost any device, within North America...since I have been exposed to move of them. I do accept PMs.
If you can't move to Verizon and you're stuck on that particular phone you could always search eBay. I just did a quick search and found quite a few that are used but in excellent condition. A lot of people will tell you to steer clear of eBay but I have bought 3 phones so far and not had an issue with any of them. You just have to make sure you read the whole listing and make sure they have a return policy, just in case.
Otherwise, I have the updated Walkman phone, the w760i and it is awesome. My fiancee has the original Walkman and while it is a neat phone mine is WAY better. It has a 3.2 MP camera, GPS capabilities, motion sensors that you actually use in some of the games and apps, I could go on.
