where can i get a chipped key for yamaha x max 2007?

i have a yamaha x max 2007 bought second hand when i bought it the person never told me the key was chipped and you should have a red key to read the chip from i want to get a spare made and local yamaha dealer wants £1000 to change the cpu and the whole ignition system anyone know where i might get one made
 
Bring the vehicle title, registration, bill of sale with you (to prove it's yours) to a dealer & they can order one from the manufacturer, assuming the computer wasn't already swapped. These keys ain't cheap, but a whole lot less than paying for a new engine computer. Plus it does help against some clown jacking your bike by just hotwiring it, & generally discourages thievery 'cause even if the bastids lifted it into a truck they'd have to swap out all those expen$ive components.
