Where can I find more free apps for the HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5?

Apple & Android have a lot of free apps, but Windows Mobile have a handful. I like the HTC HD2 but the MarketPlace can use an updating. I mainly use my iPod Touch to keep up with the latest in Apps.
If you have any suggestions please let me know. I could not find much information on youtube.
Also what is .cab (file) on the HTC HD2?
