Where can i find garden snails?

I already have a garden snail but I want to find it a friend . The first one i found was under a piece of wood I want to know what kind of plants they eat or like not wood snails garden snails.

im trying to kill my snails here and they keep reproducing. i dont understand why you want them. they are good for eating algae but im not sure about the garden snailas they eat plants. if you have live plants then dont keep them. if you dont then go ahed keep them and you can find pleanty of them if you look around.
