Where can i find easy to use, free software to help with my A Level Media Studies?

I take A Level media studies, and need to make a film poster, DVD cover, and film trailer. where can i find ideal software to help me do this? it would either need to be free or cheap, as i have very little money! Please help!
 
Torrentz have loads of stuff thats' free' you will need Bit Torrent first for it to understand the files.Nero sounds like it may be useful for you
 
The easiest way would be to download a cracked version of Photoshop. This is illegal however. Depending on how long you need it for, the trial version lasts 30 days. Does your school not have any software at all? There's always the classic Windows Movie Maker, but it does make everything look rather amature.
