Interesting question. This is a team-owning partnership that you'd have to be invited to join -- and would probably cost millions to join.
There are actually some LLC's in which people can get ownership (e.g., where another corporation owns the LLC, such as the case with Interactive Brokers LLC), but here you can only gain extremely indirect ownership by buying NYT -- New York Times stock (according to the info in the Wikipedia page, at least). And that would be so indirect as to be pointless; most of what you'd own would be a newspaper business rather than sports teams.
