...gubernatorial elections (spec. DE)? I'm writing a paper about the upcoming 2010 US Senate elections in Delaware, and I am trying to find statistics about which party the state has elected to fill US Senate and US House seats in the past (governorship would also be useful). Tables, charts, graphs, ANYTHING will do, as long as the data is presented as consecutive election years (going back at least 4 or 5 election cycles) and show which party won each race. Seriously, anything will do. I am desperate. I can't find this info anywhere. Thanks!
 
It sounds like you are trying to spin the Democrats loss in the Virginia Gubernatorial election by claiming it was always a Republican state.

Fact is Obama won the state by six points a year ago and lost this year by 20%.

This is a clear rejection of Obama's failed policies.
