where can I find a low cost alternator for a 2000 dodge stratus in dallas tx on a...

your best bet is a parts store unless you have a salvage yard around that stays open on sundays, some of the pick and pull places sell those for around 45 bucks ,but if you buy one from them make sure you get some kind of a warranty on it at least ten days or more, other wise your better off buying a new rebuild, they come with a good warranty on them and they aren't easy to swap out,so the better the warranty is the less chance you,ll have of getting a bad one,i own two of those cars and neither one is easy to change an alternator on,good luck.

Unless you have a self removal scrap yard around that's open on weekends, you have to go to a parts store. Or wait until tomorrow and go to a scrap yard, most are around $40 with exchange. Are you sure it's the alternator? Maybe a bad cable, dirty ends, or a bad end....just ideas.
