Where can I find a list of MOSs needed by the US Army?

My friend is going from the Army Reserves to Active Duty. He is currently 31b (military police). He said he was told that there are no openings for 31b and that he may have to choose a different MOS, from a list of MOSs need by the Army, when he goes active.

Is this true? and if so where could one find that list online?
I don't think it's on the go-army website. From what he told me it was not a like he could just pick anything he qualified for, it was more or less a list of specific MOSs he could choose from

I don't know how often they get slots but my guess would be monthly.

He can find a list of MOS at www.goarmy.com. While there might not be any openings in Active Duty for a 31b (which I find hard to believe), he can go to a recruiter and see if they have a suggestion for him.
