Where can I find a GPS tracking device in my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT? READ

FOR MORE DETAILS PLEASE?!? My dad has been tracking my car for aout 6 months. It is FOR SURE somewhere in my car, but I just don't know where. I don't know much about cars, so please keep it as simple as possible. Where could this thing be hidden? I want to find it and throw it out to prove a point to him.

I am talking about a TRACKING DEVICE, not a GPS NAVIGATIONAL system.

please list places where most people hide them?
 
It could be in the trunk, under the car, inside the dashboard, under the seat, inside the engine compartment, in one of the door panels, etc.
