Where can I buy white chocolate for cooking?

Where can I buy white pure chocolate for cooking? I plan on flavoring these chocolate with syrup. Where can I find a good store that sells cooking chocolate? I checked Micheals but melting chocolate just won't do so any suggestions? Also can you syrup to flavor chocolate without seizing it? ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATION IS REQUESTED
