Where can I buy a decent Mountain Bike for under £150?

I'm not a serious buyer, I don't want a professional mountain bike that costs £2,900 because I want to be part of the 'elitist biker crew'. So don't tell me I'm an idiot and anything below £9 million billion quadrillion is a pale imitation of a Bike. I want a bike, with safe brakes (disc brakes preferably), that is comfortable and not immensely hard to cycle on. I'm 14, nearly 6', a strong rider and I need something that will get me up and down a dirt track often, that won't suddenly cut out, fail to brake and leave me crushed and lifeless at the bottom of a hill, tangled in a crumpled aluminium pile. Thanks.

Also, since my friends and I built a wooden cabin in the woods, and cycle there every day all year outside winter, I have more or less been riding a beat up Apollo, with full suspension, worn V-brakes and hardly any pedal leverage, so going uphill for a mile on a rocky dirt track has paid off. If you know where I can get a good bike, with disc brakes and full suspension for under £150, I'll give you your well deserved 10 points, thank you, whoever spends the time to help me.
Also, What are good brands? Thanks a lot if you can help me, if you have any other information on the spec, I would be very grateful for you to share your knowledge.
