I am searching high and low for a container home. These are modern homes made from unused shipping containers. I think they are absolutely fabulous. Good for the earth and supposedly affordable too.
Well, I would like to make one of these gems my first home, but all I can seem to find are concepts and over-priced models online. I am looking for an affordable 2-container home. Who can help me? Thanks!!

If you google "container homes" you get tons of results but mostly just businesses with design concepts. Is anyone out there in the US ACTUALLY marketing these to people in this country and offering to build them? At best I can find companies willing to build 1,000-2,000 sq ft houses, but that is way larger than I am looking for. Anyone know of any resources??
