I guess that's what happens when you elect one of the worse senators in Minnesota history to become gov.
My wife actually worked for Dayton for a year while he was senator.

You need both tax increase and reduction of spending..
Increasing the tax on companies doesn't mean every cent will be passed onto consumers since they have price thresholRAB.. Some companies will drop their margins to win market share etc..
Proper social welfare programs should result in a large middle class which is vital to have if you want a strong economy, also it leaRAB to other things like better education levels, less crime etc etc.. Look at other euro countries or even Australia for good examples...

Employees pay their taxes by getting less income/benefits.
Customers pay their taxes by higher prices
Owners pay their taxes by less dividenRAB, lower stock prices.

They all benefit, but it's disproportional among the classes. Income taxes are regressive against the middle class because of the difference between capital gains and ordinary income tax rates. The poor pay in little or nothing and get benefits regardless. The rich pay in a great deal but also get great benefits in the form of government subsidies to help them "stimulate" the economy with trickle down economics or whatever.

Those would be people who, because they're not stupid, understand that corporations NEVER pay taxes. They merely collect them. If you tax a corporation, it will raise its prices and pass the increase on to the consumer.
So yeah, if you want everything to be more expensive for you, you should definitely support huge tax increases on corporations. ESPECIALLY oil companies. Because you can never pay too much for gasoline.

I agree with you on them including people making $250K/yr in the whole mill/billonaire class.
The problem with corporations paying more taxes is, really, they won't. They will just pass the cost on to the consumer of whatever their product is. For business, the taxes are just another part of the costs they build in to whatever they produce.
