i was looking for the spark plugs in my wifes 05 ford explorer but it doesn't look like they are located on the sides of the engine like usual. so where are they?
Beneath the individual coils. Four on each side of engine on top going through the intake manifold pointing down. Remove the coils and the plug is about three to four inches inside of the hole that the black tube just came out of.
