where are the motor mounts on a 2004 dodge neon?

when somesone says the motor mounts have collapsed, what exactly does that mean?

Under the engine near the front. It means the rubber bumper material that keeps the metal of the engine from banging on the metal of the car has deteriorated and crumbled out. Way too soon for a 2004 model.

it means your motor is not being supported by the 'clips' or motor mounts so when you rev up your engine that causes your engine to mash back and fourth- side to side....
