Where are the best places to go Camping around Perth WA?

My best mate is coming over from England and i want t show hime the great outdoors of WA, a big group of us want to go camping around perth! maybe up to a 4-5 hour drive away? Where's somewhere really beautiful, where a group of backpackers can have a good time and see some beautiful things?
