Our troops have been over in Iraq and Afghanistan too long, but the outrage has subsided now that there is a democratic president in office. "More of the same." Our troops need to come home.
I listen to the Progressive/Liberal community and they still complain all the time that our troops are in the middle east.
The large protests we saw from before was when we first entered Iraq. After that, they were mostly low key. But they still exist, just a lot more calm now that our troops will soon be pulled out.
