I never did get pay for a job I did in a customer's house, I took her to the small claims court and I did win the case....Now, I'm interested to file a Mechanic Lien on her property...how can i do that? and how burocract is it?

It's not very bureaucratic at all, but it will cost you around $30 or $40. Depending upon how it works in your jurisdiction, you would either go to the Marshall Office, the Sheriffs Office, or the Courthouse and file an order for enforcement of a judgment. Specifically you want to place a lien on the property. Bring a copy of your judgment with you. Fill out the paperwork, pay your fee, and let the courts do the rest.
They will contact the person in question and notify them of the lien. The person will have the opportunity of paying the amount due. If they fail to respond or fail to pay by the deadline, the state will seize their property and auction it off. You will get what you are owed, the former property owner will get the balance.
