Where 2 Camp must be on good fishing waters Within 2 hr of Latham ny 12110?

Wanted 2 go 2 Rollins Pond but its a lil far Google map says 3 hr. Camped Sharps bridge just off exit 30 this past week end between 2 trucks $60 way up $60 back and $40 up there in fuel. Also I should say I will be bringing a canoe with a trolling motor. I also Enjoy bass pike more than trout fishing. I also have 5 kids and 4 adults kids from 1-13
