When's the last time you got angry during a debate on religion?

Great question.
I personally haven't gotten angry on a debate on religion, mainly because it's not a debate. The truth is not open to interpretation or opinion and cannot be debated.
I am a christian, and as such my foundation is in the Holy Bible. If I'm answering a question or in a discussion about religion, the Bible is the source of truth for me. I use scripture from the bible to answer questions and so if someone doesn't agree with my position, then it's not me that they aren't agreeing with, it's my God. I don't have a need to get emotional about it, because it's not about me personally.

I haven't been angry in a while... but the last time it was because a "person of deep faith" was talking about love and then proceeded to tell me why he thought gays were subhuman animals with a disease. Unbridled bigotry usually pushes my buttons.

Never. I don't debate. I express my views and listen to others. I believe everyone is entitled to their own viewpoint so there really is no point in debating and especially not in getting angry.

I wouldn't say I get so much angry as I do frustrated sometimes, not at the lack of the other not comprehending. But more because of my lack of being able to put into words what I want to convey..
