When your taking a pregnancy test does it really matter how diluted your pee is?

I took one an hour ago and drank 3-4 bottle of water b4 I even took the test. Does it matter what time of day or how diluted ur pee is? I feel like crap...
 
Yes, the dilution of your urine will matter, especially that much. It will work best if you do it right after you wake up, because your urine is the most concentrated then. Try again in the morning.
 
If you have missed a period then you can take a test at anytime no matter how diluted your urine is and it should tell you with 99.99% accuracy. However, if you have NOT missed a period and you have a test that says it can tell within 5 days of a missed period you are more likely to get an accurate result if you take it in the morning the first time you urinate.

The best time to test is in the morning. First morning pee is concentrated with HCG the hormone needed to detect pregnancy. If you are too early in you will probably get a false negative because the embryo hasn't created the hormone yet, or you can take it right on time at about day 29 of your cycle counting from the last day of your last MS.
