the so-called mother of my daughter now has,within less than a year,two incident reports and one contempt charge pending.my question is this:do i have to go through my 300/hr lawyer to pursue these charges or can i contact the court clerk or someone in family court before i use my lawyer? that is why im wondering what the penalties could be before he gets involved.i would think that the guardian ad lidem and my attorney would be contacted by the prosecuting attorney regardless but im not sure how it all works.
