when you take a pill and go lay right down

What do you do when you took 2 doxycycline pills right before going to bed? (100mg each) You wake up later with a huge pain in your chest like major heart burn or something.
 
Next time you take them take them with food. You evidently don't do well taking them on an empty stomach. Try taking an anacid and see of that helps.
 
probably was bad heartburn from laying down so soon afterwards. I agree to take it with a little snack next time and at least 30 minutes before you go to bed.
