Recently a friend of mine and I were playing golf when, upon his drive at # 2 he whiffed. I've played with him for 20 years and never saw him do that. He said it didn't count because the ball was not in play. I said the intent to strike the ball was there so it did count. as it turned out it made no difference in the final score but which is correct?
When you swing and miss a drive at golf does it count?
