when you paint your car whats the high gloss coating you put on it?

you prime...spray paint...but whats the high gloss protective coating they spray on called ?? whats a good brand ?

please no iggnorant statements im trying to figure out how to protect the paint
sorry for a 3rd edit...what are my options ..is there better options for me ?
