When you go through his phone, And put 2 & 2 together ends up to your fault?

so long story short. I had gone through my fiances phone a while back and had found out he was texting other chicks, that were nasty and had been known around town, and when i confronted him of it he got defensive and had said that if i hadnt had gone through it i wouldnt have got hurt. Thing is a friend had texted him and he was driving he told me what to tell him back, when i sent it another message came in not to long after it, it was a girl and it said "i cant leave but i want you" so that had me surpised and i looked at the sent messages and he had been texting her right next to me! telling her he wanted to go pick her up and other things. So its not like i was looking for anything before that, so how is it my fault that i got hurt? and its something i have trouble getting over. I was always able to trust him till that point, i love him and forgave him for what all that had been going on because he ended up being honest. How do i get over it and forget it?
 
It's not your fault you weren't the one cheating? Hello. Girl just go on with your life. Get rid of him buy a nice black dress and go out and find somebody new. A song once said "only one thing can make you get over a woman, another woman" So girl hello"Another Man"
 
Uh you don't. There is a taboo rule that EVERY girl has to follow: you don't date your friend's ex or current. The truth is that he was never trustworthy because you trusted him based on the deception he had going on and probably has still. You will never get past it
