A billing place wants you to pay more than the $50,00 you can AFFORD to pay.
Here it goes. She said, "well Mrs. Smith we need you to pay $100.00 (for instance)..You said."I can only afford to pay $50.00. She again say.."well, Maam that is not acceptable.' YOU again say.."I can only afford the $50.00 with my budget." She again says.."Mrs. Smith you need to pay $100.00. YOu repeat yourself (This will be the 3rd time)> "well, with all due respect I can only afford the $50.00 payment." She said.."maam that is unacceptable". You said.''Regardless, that is all I can afford to pay and I do not want to go round and round. I told you what I can afford to pay.
She just pauses...and YOU interject."Have a good day." NO YELLING, just straight forward!
Later a bill arrives for $50.00..See how that was handled...They keep you on the phone TRYING TO get blood out of a turnip. Try that next time you are in a tough sitation. They have to take what money you can AFFORD to pay...But if you want to cut them short, just repeat yourself TWICE and just say after they go on and on.."I have to go now,. Goodbye!" and just HANG UP...They are being pushy and there is NO law that says you have to put up with it...Any opinions ? I am trying to help people that are in a tough financial situation.
