I am a Conservative Republican but on this issue I hope the dems roll right over the Republicans.














The part I like best is how the Republicans keep saying they have a plan or had plans.

The Republicans are only responding and if the Democrats hadn't brought it up they would never have brought anything.
 
A recent poll done by Rasmussen shows that 55% of Americans are against Obamacare. 43% without insurance are even opposed to the current healthcare plans!

When will Congress finally listen to the people who elected them and get this thing passed already?

nice guy hit it the nail on the head. ive been calling my congressmens office to let them know. but i think its all about the money and keeping the people down. you have to understand though that on the republican side you have a lot of stupid people. i mean on their network they debate about whether they are smarter than fifith graders

Not even the members of congress have read the thousand plus pages that they are supposed to vote on so how the heck are we supposed to make any real informed opinion when we have no idea of what's really being proposed to be voted on and rammed down the throats of Americans. The only information available to John Q. are soundbites from the talking heads.
 
Sorry, but much as you might distrust fox news, I give zero credence to anything in the NY Times.
Would I like Health Care Reform myself - Yes - sadly thou - havent seen or heard a single proposal that deals with it yet, while containing our growing deficit.
 
When the USA health system collapses and people can't get any treatment. And it will happen sooner or later. Keep listening to those "Mr. Obama's Hate Fans" of idiots storming town hall against his health proporsals. People always learned the hard way.
 
Based on one poll which stands in opposition to many other polls? I think not. I believe that they should listen to what their constituents are telling them. This statistic is not directly reflected in any poll. The most interesting number in this poll and the one which shows why the current plans should not be passed is this one.

These numbers speak for themselves. People do not understand the depth or implication of what is being proposed. Therefore it is impossible for them to say that any of these plans is a good choice for passage.
 
Listening to the people would violate the most fundmental foundation of our government, ever since Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo and then accused Nixon of acting like he was above the law, then getting a 40 year career as the most powerful member of Congress.
