When will the government buy me a sports car? Since people on WELFARE can afford to buy

NEW CARS with rims? I consider myself a productive member of society. I go to work and school. But I just can't seem to find the money to buy myself the sports car I want and pay for insurance. Now I see people who drive Chrysler 300c's Mercedes And Jaguars, with chrome wheels, detailed paint jobs, and loud sound systems. These people don't seem or look like professionals and seem to have all day to hang out and cruise around town. Now what is the government going to do about this?

And I was wondering when the government was going to help me pay for the car I wanted to buy, because I am good citizen?
OK You're right I have no idea if these people are on welfare. but I know these people live in the 'hood and spend all their money on cars clothes , jewelry.

So do you think the government should offer them any assistance medical education housing or anything else?
Sad thing is Alot people here pretend to not know what I'm talkng about.
Yea I'm being sarcastic. I'm just don't like people getting free rides while I'm stuck working hard at my job

If you work and pay taxes. No car. Keep trying the government will check with each year to ensure you pay your share. We have a lot of people in need of new cars. Do you have a friend that might also work if so send along his name.

well these are the same people who bitch about how they have no money and yet they wear $100,000 bling and have 60" plasma screens

Well, obviously you're being sarcastic, but here is where it falls short.

You criticize the present administration for being prompted by the idea everyone will get free things.

Yet the present administration is not giving out these free things and somehow, you're disappointed.

What exactly is your point? Are you simply making fun of people who thought the government would provide? Or are you angry that it's not?

And do you just assume they are on welfare? Just because they don't seem like professionals doesn't mean that they can't be. I have an idea why don't you go ask one? Seriously just flag them down and ask if they are on welfare. And if they are then you should inform the police because they are obviously doing something on the side or they are committing fraud.

People on welfare can't afford cars like that. You are very confused on the small amount of money people get monthly from disability, WIC, food stamps, etc. It is minimal, less than poverty level. Just because those drivers don't look professional to you, doesn't mean they aren't.

Please provide verifiable evidence of anyone who has a new car with rims AND is on welfare.

Good luck with that.

One Sunday afternoon I was driving down the street and passed a construction site. There was a sign that said something about a new 7-11 convenient store being built on that site. There wasn't nothing there but a concrete slab and a few pallets of bricks and some lumber, but there were four black guys in an old Monte carlo with pistols making a test run on the place. I heard one of them say, gimme all da money or I'll blow yo damn head off.

You can buy your own car easy!

Just look for a dealership with signs reading "Buy Here, Pay Here", "Easy Credit" or (especially) "Credito Facil".

If you see a lot of check cashing places, you'll know you're in the right neighborhood.

Selling crack and collecting welfare seems to be the hottest occupation hahaha I bet Obama will offer them a nice retirement plan soon. :D

the only people I know on welfare who do that... are drug dealers...

deal drugs and you can get all that stuff too...

These people are not getting this stuff from the government. If you want this stuff without having a job, I guess you'll have to do something less than legal and take the chance of going to prison where Bubba may butt rape you.

I was a social case worker for a year, hated that job and left it. It looks like THAT YOU DON'T KNOW how the welfare system works. In fact, if someone is a welfare recipient he/she will have to mail an update form every month to indicate any new income, jobs, benefits, that he/she received. They can't lie about this because, if they get a job and still claim welfare obviously your own social security number will tell all that necessary information about work information that you may be doing legally. Sometimes, recipients are supervised, meaning someone actually pays a visit to their resident to see how they are doing. If you have six kids, you will receive a welfare that ONLY benefits six people. Remember, recipients receive money that is not even enough for them to do anything besides basic necessities. No, can't buy you a car. I knew many families who actually chose to find a work and felt that they were under pressure and scrutiny from the welfare system. Believe me, they make more money working on minimum wage than welfare.

How do you know they are on welfare? I guess all the celebs that drive these fancy cars, and own rims are on welfare also..PLEASE

So since these so called people ur talking about live in the "HOOD" then who are the people that are begging the gov't for the money to bail them out on their homes that are about to get foreclosed? Why were they spending getting luxury homes, cars, and clothes knowing the couldn't afford it

People like that typically paid for their cars in cash, if you know what I mean. They may be on welfare, but they are not unemployed. Definitely dealers on the side, if they get welfare at all.

We'd have to have a department set up to handle each and every case of welfare in order to get what you want. If we had a group of investigators go and investigate every case of welfare in the country, we probably could seriously trim down the budget, but at the same time, we'd spend millions on this new agency... There are people that genuinely need welfare, so I don't feel we can do away with the whole system because of a few people who abuse it.
