When will people realise that climate change will kill us?

According to the film The Age Of Stupid if we do nothing about climate change (that is carrying on like we are now) by 2015 then by 2050 the human race will suffer extinction because of natural disatsers such as Hurricane Katrina and flooding and drought. So why won't people take any notice? Ignorance will kill us, and turning to God to save you won't help in the long run.
 
I haven't seen that movie but from what I know about, I'd classify the title of it as ironic.

I am going start using a "Groupthink Factor" for AGW issues. Here is my first one concerning this movie:
"Groupthink Factor - -Stereotyping those who are opposed to the group as weak, evil, disfigured, impotent, or stupid." - Rating (0-10): 10
 
Well something somewhere will kill all of us, but as far as climate change I doubt it. Climates change all the time and since the people have only kept track of it for the last couple of hundred years, we really don't know if that's the way it is. But we will also have other worlds and galaxies to go to.
