When will N73 be officially released in the US?

I don't understand the delay. They are not modifying it for the US market and it's been available from importers for a long time.
 
The phone is pretty buggy. Be glad It isnt released. As far as a delay, I've never heard a firm release date in the US so I'm not sure how it can be considered "delayed". Regardless, by the time it is formally released the interests of most Hofoers will be the N95
 
So we can get the Nokia warranty instead of taking chances with importers? There are now Nokia stores here and I also don't see why the phone isn't in the stores yet, after being listed as "expected soon" for about 6 months on nokiausa.com!!!
 
Exactly. I think Phone Diva and I are asking a legitmate question here. Does anybody know why there is a delay? (I call it a delay because the model is THE SAME AS as the overseas model and it was released over there a long time ago)
 
IMHO, Nokia doesn't call shots here -- it's service providers. they upgrade to new phones only once a year (in Spring usually). it's stuff training, warranty support, price discounts etc.. i used to be Motorola tester with V60 on Verizon. It took one year to release V60 to the US market after testing is done...
 
buggy.. no morre or less then any other n series.... i don't think it's buggy though just a little on the slow side.. and lacking in the memory department... same reason i just got rid of my n80ieeee... now back to e61
 
please dont tell met that I've got my E61 packaged up and ready to ship tomorrow and have my n80ie in transit. Is the N80 better or worse than the N73 in regards to memory....and perhaps I should have upgraded the N73's firmware before I sold it to really see how well it behaved. I just had bookoo problems with the camera being sensitive and locking up. I would say that 20 percent of the time the phone would need a reboot when I tried to switch from video back to stills on the camera. Never had a problem going to video, but coming back either resulted in a complete system lock up or just real sluggish behavior. Either way, I just want an N80ie to mess around with until the 95's released. It's one of the few S60's I didnt pick up upon release and I held it the other day and got the "Jones"
