My friend was caught shoplifting while I was with him and the investigating officer asked me if I could be a witness in court. Under pressure and wanting to just get out the situation, I unconsciously said yes. Will I be served a subpoena? If so, when will it come, how early before the court date? I think I should have been served awhile ago, if I had to (I overheard the officer tell him and his parents it would be November 23 and it's the 17th today). Thanks guys!
