My roommate did 5 months in another county and was transported to this county (in mn) on a 5th degree charge. He went to court a few days ago and plead not guilty. His bail is $10,000. They set his trial date for April. The next day he decided to change his plea to guilty. Now what happens? When does he go before the judge for sentencing (a good guess) and do you think he will get time served or additional time to serve. In the county he came from, he was also charged with a 5th degree and did his time, but he also has to do a rule 25 (which is what)? Do you think he will be getting out soon? We live in mn.
