When will it be too late to apply to go to a better high school In New York?

New member
I live in mount Vernon NY and go to Mt Vernon High-school. The school
is very bad but I'm there as a last resort. Next year I will be a
junior and want to switch schools. The A Better Chance program had
it's deadline that I missed. So Is it too late to apply for a better
school not too far away. If so what are they?
