O Old Man Dirt Guest Feb 12, 2009 #2 I don't think there will be a 2009 model. Mazda has already skipped one year of sales before on the Miata line. I expect that they are waiting to reveal a totally new model of the Miata on its twenty birthday and call it a 2010 model
