on the google toolbar it does, but if u have a toolbar that dosnt earase , on the right upper hand corner of the internet window it says tools then click on it and then go to toolbars and check the ones u want to keep.

they can recover anything from your hard drive you have to defragment your hard drive and write over many times before you can lose All of it

Unless you really want to find it yes. After you remove the browsing history its gone.

However when you delete anything off a hard disk its not truly gone (its very hard to find though) as the data is still on the hard disk until the part of the hard drive that it was stored on is overwritten with other data, but you need special programs to try and find the deleted data. Even then there is no guarantee that you can get it back again.

Deleting Internet Explorer's entire History list

Here's how to delete Internet Explorer's entire History list:

Open Internet Explorer.
Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
Click the "Clear History" button.
Internet Explorer immediately "forgets" the sites and pages you've visited.

To stop Internet Explorer from keeping the list altogether, continue to step four, below.
Set the "Days to keep pages in history" setting to "0".

Deleting individual entries from the History list
If you'd like to keep the History enabled for convenience sake, you may delete individual sites from the History by doing this:

Open Internet Explorer and click its "History" button.
Right-click the individual site you'd like to purge and select Delete from the pop-up menu.
Choose Yes to confirm the deletion
