When was the last time you went just fishing?

I want to know when the last time you went out to the water to catch whatever was biting. Not going out for bass, trout, or crappie. Just fishing the way it was meant to be fun, relaxing, away from modern life.

I find myself going out catfishing, or bass fishing or crappie, it seems that there when I take someone out fishing that they always have a certain species in mind. I have just as much fun going after a bream as I do bass.

I see people out fishing at the dam all the time cursing drum, bream, or gar when they are out for catfish. Have these people forgotten what started it all? The fun of just going out to fish.
 
Yeah , I agree with you. People should fish for fun because it's a great relaxing thing to do.

I really don't care what I catch , bass ,catfish, brim , crappie , bowfin , snakeheads , whatever. it's jus fun...
