When to take pregnancy test?

My S.O. and I had sex on August 18th and the condom broke.

I get my period every other month (yes, I am going to do the doctor about about this on September 8th) and I may or may not be getting my period on September 1st.

So, if I am due for my period any day now, or month, and I had sex 2 weeks ago, is this an ideal time for a pregnancy test or should I wait?

I would really like to know as soon as possible because I will be getting an abortion. I did not have sex assuming that there are no consequences. I did not have sex without protection (we used a condom and birth control, but I'm still worried). I am not some kid thinking she's all grown up. So do NOT criticize my choice. I am old enough to make my own decisions, and your criticizing is not going to change my mind or help answer my question, thanks.
 
I would wait another week and take a test. But if you didn't want to be criticized then Y!A is not the place you should have gone for help.

And even though it's still possible, It's not very likely that you are pregnant considering you used a condon and birth control.
