when to feed bloodworms to fish?

i am thinking of buying some frozen bloodworms to give to my two goldfish. how many can they have a day and what are the benifits of them ??
 
Just pop a cube into the tank as a treat once a week.

It's a good substitute for their normal food - but shouldn't replace it altogether.
 
I feed mine once a week, i oly use it to stop the dried food from clogging them up - the bloodworm will help "clear" their systems...
It's also pretty expensive these days so once a week is more than enough. Another use for frozen/live feed is to help new fish settle in but i'd only recommend frozen as live can present many water problems.
