I was wondering when would be the ideal time to change a timing belt on a 1997 dodge stratus. I would guess its probably in the miles at some point, if anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it. I looked in the owners manual about it in the belts section, it just stated that you need to look if it is cracked or anything. I am very unoriented with cars and auto stuff, and my mechanic did not want to look at it until he knew when he should. So, please help!
