When the several new South Park episodes start airing in Oct.

Despite whatever falling out they had, and what was done to the character in The Return of Chef!, it would be the classy thing to do.

(...And please, keep the "there's nothing classy about South Park" comments to yourselves. :p )

I couldn't find any official verification, but some people are saying the mid-season premiere in October will be an hour long. Don't get your hopes up, it could be either blatantly false or just an hour slot for some sort of additional half-hour special.

Actually the news that I read originated from the TV Guide (in the "returning premieres" issue) from one of they're actual magazine articles. And I trust the TV Guide since they kind of have to be accurate about these things. And they're right since the offical press release (seen at sites like South Park Scriptorium, South Park Studios and the like) also mentions a hour long episode, beginning the new season which starts October 8th at 10PM. In other words about 16 days from now. Don't knwo what it's about though but the fact they've bee planning a two parter for awhile means it shoudl be epic. Maybe not "Imaginationland" epic but still pretty epic all the same.

Do you have a link? It'd really help. I never managed to find any confirmation.

The latest South Park Studios FAQ answers the question with "Seriously? We just finished the Imaginationland Movie. Are you trying to kill us?" Not a full denial, but I thought that sort of squashed it.

Here's the South Park Scriptorium Link To The Information (Scroll Down The Page)

Scriptorium Is As Trustworthy as SP Studios, and it does list it as an offical press release. I do note though according to the offical Comedy Central Site October 8 is also when they're releasing the sneak peak of the new season of the Sarah Silverman show after South's Park premiere which either means a few minute long sneak peak or that the hour long special is a two parter like "Imaginationland". Don't know exactly yet but I still think it will be a full hour special if they're been talking about it for this long. (a few weeks is quite long for info on SP episodes nowadays).

In yesterdays' Daily News, Matt Stone was quoted at a party saying that they didn't write anything for this season yet, and it starts in 2 in a half weeks.

Considering Drawn Together was one of Comedy Central's highest rated shows and had very intelligent writing once you looked past its raunchy humor, it was a great show.
