When should I take the pregnancy test?

I have been having unprotected sex with my fiancee for a little over a month now, and we're trying to get pregnant. I last took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago, but I'm not sure if I should take one now... I mean I've been feeling nauseas and I threw up this morning and I've had a headache all day, I don't know if any of this is important... but when should I take it? My period is due this month but I don't know when. I think these symptoms I'm having can't be pregnancy since it's too early. What should I do?
 
the best time to take a pregnancy test is closer to or after your period is supposed to start. since youre not sure of when that is, i would wait and see if the symptoms last for a few more days.
